Headphone type
BNPlayer works well both with headphones and earphones. Most of the headphones and earphones are low boosted to some extent. For listening with binaural effect, not heavily low boosted, “flat” headphones/earphones are preferable.
When you hear music through loud speakers, you hear direct sound from speakers and also reflected waves from room walls. These reverb gives rich taste to the music. Headphone/earphone sound do not have any reverb, so most people feels the sound is too clear. Low boosting compensates it and make music rich. BNPlayer adds reverb to music, so too much low boosting results over compensating.
Listening Condition
What you see influences what you hear. Stand very close to a wall in front of you and listen music with BNPlayer. You feel as if players are on the wall, not beyond the wall. For best listening experience, you need large space in front of you. Keep distance of 3 to 4m from the wall in front of you.
