BNEffector adds binaural effect to existing files and export them as new files. It is a free tool for Mac OSX.
BNEffector accepts CD-format(44.1kHz 16bit stereo) wav files. Transformed files are 44.1kHz, 16bit or 24bit, stereo wav files. If your music files are not CD-format wav files, please convert them before the transformation. BNeffector uses a SBNfilter file to define transformation. Default SBNfilter inside the BNeffector (named “DF135”) assumes an average person. You can compensate the SBNfilter and make it best fitted for you and your headphones.
